2011 - 2012 School Year Awards
Principal's Effort Award - Presented to that student who gives 100%, who is consistent in showing good work habits, who is responsible for all assignments, and who does them to the best of his/her ability.
Citizenship Award - Recognizes young people for making a positive contribution to their school. They show a positive attitude toward classmates, school, community. They possess strength of character and courage to do what is right.
Service Award - Recognizes those students who perform special acts of service to our school.

School Spirit - Recognizes those students who participate in school activities with great enthusiasm and are models of school spirit for the rest of the student body.
Light of Christ Award - Recognizes the student who shows special kindness to classmates, is respectful to all, and lets the Light of Christ shine though them.
Overall Excellence Award - Excels in all subject areas.
Subject Area Awards
Forensics - Students who represented our school in the Chrysostom Catholic Forensic League.
Alter Servers -
President's Award for Educational Excellence - Recognizes and honors those students who have achieved high academic goals by their hard work and dedication to learning. They maintained a 3.5 average and scored high in Math and/or Reading on the Terra Nova tests. These students receive certificates signed by the U.S. President and pins inscribed with the Presidential Seal.
Patricia Ann Smithling Award - Presented to the student in Grade K - 7, nominated by the faculty, determined by the Smithling family in consultation with the Principal. This award recognizes the student working to the best of his/her ability, who demonstrates a love of learning, creativity, a desire to improve, and exhibits a love towards others, a gentleness of spirit and an awareness of the needs of others. This student receives a $500 monetary award.
2011 - 2012 Recipient:
The award is named after a beautiful young teacher who possessed these quailities. The name will be added to the list of those special people who have honored Mrs. Smithling's memory since 1991.
